The Craftsman CMEW231 orbital sander has a 3.0 Amp motor and delivers 12,000 orbits per minute to help you easily complete your sanding jobs. The most common applications for the sander are paint and varnish removal, prepare the surface for finishing and smoothing seams. The low profile of this orbital sander provides reduced vibration and added control to get a great finish every time. The dust sealed switch protects the sander from damage and provides added durability. The sander has an on-board dust bag that helps to control the dust while you are working. It also has a connector to attach a 1-3/4 inch vacuum hose. This will pull more dust from the work area and make clean up much easier. The sander is corded so you never have to worry about charging a battery.
